The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade, located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, officially opened in May 2010 at a cost of nearly $6.4 million and runs 1.2 miles (1.9 km) along the oceanfront from the Pier 14 at 14th Avenue North to the 2nd Avenue Pier at 2nd Avenue North. National Geographic has ranked Myrtle Beach Boardwalk number three in the United States, while Travel and Leisure ranked the boardwalk number two.

SkyWheel is a 187-foot tall (57.0 m) Ferris wheel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.When it opened on May 20th, 2011 it was the second-tallest extant Ferris wheel in North America, after the 212-foot (64.6 m) Texas Star in Dallas, and the tallest wheel in the United States east of the Mississippi River.

The Myrtle Beach Pavilion was a historic pay-per-ride, no parking fee, 11-acre amusement park that was located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at the corner of 9th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard. It was just a few blocks down from another Myrtle Beach amusement park, the Family Kingdom Amusement Park; both in the "heart" of Myrtle Beach.

The Gay Dolphin Gift Cove is located at 910 North Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States, and calls itself "the nation's largest gift shop". As of 2011, the Gay Dolphin had 26,000 square feet (2,400 m2) and store owner Justin "Buz" Plyler said the store averaged 70,000 items. Located in 50 sections called "coves", including an Elvis Cove, items include "sea shells, brushes for bald men and noisy seat cushions." Larger items have included a fountain with three dolphins costing $7,000 and a life-size cigar store Indian.

Hurricane: Category 5 was a Custom Coasters International wooden roller coaster located at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion. It replaced the Corkscrew roller coaster which existed since the late 1970s. The Pavilion unveiled their multimillion-dollar coaster May 6, 2000. During operation, Hurricane held the record for being the tallest, fastest, and longest wooden roller coaster in South Carolina.

Mad Mouse was a very compact roller coaster located at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion. Built by Arrow Dynamics in 1998, Mad Mouse was the first of 4 "Mad Mouse" design models installed by Arrow Dynamics (the other three being at Cedar Fair parks, which are Michigan's Adventure, Valleyfair, and California's Great America, in which that one is called Psycho Mouse).

Pier 14 is a restaurant, lounge, and fishing pier in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Sandwiched between a strip of hotels and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, the pier thrives on tourists and vacationers. Pier 14 is a sufficient example of a modern pleasure pier with its draw for tourism and its recreational purposes.
