Tonghui River

The Communication University of China (CUC) (Chinese: 中国传媒大学; pinyin: Zhōngguó Chuánméi Dàxué) is a leading public university in Beijing. It is one of the China's key universities of “Project 211”, directly administered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. CUC developed from what used to be a training center for technicians of the Central Broadcasting Bureau that was founded in 1954.

The Beijing International Studies University (BISU) is a public teaching and research university based in the city of Beijing, China. Founded in 1964, it was part of the national initiative to promote tertiary foreign language education. The Battle of Palikao (French: La bataille de Palikao, simplified Chinese: 八里桥之战; traditional Chinese: 八里橋之戰; pinyin: Bālǐqiáo zhī zhàn; literally: 'Battle of the Eight-Mile Bridge') was fought at the bridge of Palikao by Anglo-French forces against the Qing Empire during the Second Opium War on the morning of 21 September 1860.

Beijing TV Centre (simplified Chinese: 北京电视中心; traditional Chinese: 北京電視中心; pinyin: Běijīng Diànshì Zhōngxīn) is a 41-floor 239 metres (784 ft) tall skyscraper completed in 2006 located in Beijing, China. It was designed by Japanese company Nikken Sekkei. It looks similar to the Commerzbank Tower in Frankfurt.

Yongtongqiao, better known as Baliqiao (literally: 'Eight Mile Bridge'; also romanised as Palikao), is a historic bridge located at the intersection of Tongzhou and Chaoyang districts in the east of Beijing, China. It passes over the Tonghui River (通惠河).

Beijing Yintai Centre Tower 2 (simplified Chinese: 北京银泰中心 2; traditional Chinese: 北京銀泰中心 2; pinyin: Běijīng Yíntài Zhōngxīn Èr) is a 63-floor 250 meter (820 foot) tall skyscraper completed in 2007 located in Beijing Yintai Centre, Beijing, China. It includes a hotel and residences.

The Jingtong Expressway (Chinese: 京通快速公路; pinyin: Jīngtōng Kuàisù Gōnglù) is an expressway with express road characteristics in Beijing which links the central Chaoyang District to Tongzhou District. At present, it is approximately 14 km (8.7 mi) in length.The Jingtong Expressway gets its name by the combination of two one-character Chinese abbreviations of both Beijing and Tongzhou (Beijing 北京 -- Jīng 京, Tongzhou 通州 -- Tōng 通).

Baliqiao Station (simplified Chinese: 八里桥站; traditional Chinese: 八里橋站; pinyin: Bālĭqiáo Zhàn) is a station on Batong Line of the Beijing Subway.
