Expo 2010, officially the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, was held on both banks of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, China, from 1 May to 31 October 2010. It was a major World Expo registered by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), in the tradition of international fairs and expositions, the first since 2000.

The 2010 World Expo Shanghai is the largest Expo site ever, covering more than 5.2 square kilometers and containing more than 70 exposition pavilions. More than 190 countries and 50 international organizations registered to participate in the 2010 Shanghai Expo.

The Bank of China Building is a tower located at No. 23 on the Bund, in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. Previously the headquarters of the Bank of China, it now houses the Shanghai Branch of the Bank of China.It was built on the site of the old German Club (c. 1907). It housed the headquarters of the Bank of China.

Aurora Plaza is a 185 m high skyscraper in the Pudong financial district, Lujiazui, of Shanghai, China, that was completed in 2003. The Bund Tunnel (Chinese: 外滩隧道; pinyin: Wàitān Suìdào) is a 3.3 km (2.1 mi) sub-surface road and road tunnel in the city of Shanghai, China. The tunnel connects the districts of Hongkou to the north and Huangpu to the south.In the south, the tunnel begins on a stretch of South Zhongshan Road, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, on the east side of the old Chinese city.

The Bank of Taiwan Building (Chinese: 台湾银行大楼) is located at No. 16, The Bund, Shanghai, China. The Japanese Empire occupied Taiwan in 1895, and in 1899 founded the Bank of Taiwan to promote trade between Taiwan, the Japanese Empire, and the rest of Asia. The bank then began opening offices outside of Taiwan in order to facilitate inter-regional trade.

The Power Station of Art is a contemporary art museum in Shanghai. Housed in a former power station, it is China's first state run contemporary art museum. Converting the building cost $64 million which was paid for by the Shanghai government.The museum is on the site of the Expo 2010 and on the left bank of the Huangpu River.

The Shanghai trolleybus system is a system of trolleybuses forming part of the public transport network in the city of Shanghai, China. Of more than 300 trolleybus systems in operation worldwide (as of 2011), the Shanghai system is the oldest. The system turned 100 years old in November 2014 and was the first trolleybus system anywhere in the world to reach that milestone.
