IF BEACHES

Father Capodanno Boulevard, formerly called Seaside Boulevard, is primary north-south artery that runs through the Arrochar, South Beach, Ocean Breeze, Midland Beach, and New Dorp Beach neighborhoods of New York City, in the borough of Staten Island, New York. The boulevard runs parallel to the South Beach Boardwalk and public park.

Elm Tree Beacon Light served as the front range with New Dorp Light as the rear to mark Swash Channel. The channel is now marked by Staten Island Light and West Bank Light.

The South Beach-Franklin Delano Roosevelt Boardwalk, alternately referred to as the F.D.R. Boardwalk or the South Beach Boardwalk is a boardwalk on the East Shore of Staten Island, one of the five boroughs of New York City.The boardwalk was built in 1935 to replace an existing commercial boardwalk and tourist area.

Miller Field was a United States Army facility in the neighborhood of New Dorp, Staten Island, New York. It was founded in November 1919 and completed in 1921.

The Midland Beach Railway Company of Staten Island operated a miniature railway at Midland Beach, Staten Island around 1903.

The New Creek watershed encompasses 2,220 acres (9.0 km2) on the East Shore of Staten Island, New York City. The creek is fed by many natural springs in the area, which were used by the Lenape Indians before the arrival of European colonists in the 17th century. Many of the springs have been channeled underground by urban development as the population expanded throughout New York City and Staten Island.

New Dorp Beach is along the shore of the neighborhood of New Dorp, on the south shore of Staten Island, one of the five boroughs of New York City. It is between Midland Beach and Oakwood Beach.
