Disa Park is one of the most well-known pieces of architecture in the Vredehoek area of Cape Town, South Africa.Built by the construction company Murray and Roberts in the 1960s, these three 17 story, cylindrical towers, called Blinkwater, Platteklip and Silverstroom, are nestled on the slopes of Table Mountain, and are almost universally proclaimed to be a blemish on the face of the majestic mountain.

Trafalgar High School is a secondary school in District Six of Cape Town in South Africa. It was the first school built in Cape Town for coloured and black students. The school took a leading role in protesting against apartheid policies. It celebrated its centenary in 2012 and is still running.

Devil's Peak Estate is a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa in the area known as the City Bowl. It is sandwiched between Vredehoek and Zonnebloem on the slopes of Devil's Peak. According to the 2011 census it has a population of 1,859 residents in an area of 0.46 square kilometres (0.18 sq mi).Devil's Peak is situated adjacent to the M3 expressway (De Waal Drive changed to Philip Kgosana Drive).

Vredehoek (Afrikaans: "corner of peace" or "peace corner") is a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa located in the City Bowl, on the slopes of Table Mountain, between Devil's Peak Estate and Oranjezicht. The suburb was proclaimed after the first world war and immigrants from many European countries settled here after peace was declared.
