The collection encompasses 8,000 years of history of Chinese art from the Neolithic age to the modern.

The Chinese Culture and Movie Center (Chinese: 中影文化城; pinyin: Zhōngyǐng Wénhuàchéng) is a former movie studio and tourist attraction located in the Shilin District of Taipei, Taiwan. It is owned by the Republic of China Central Motion Pictures Company. In its early period, it functioned as a film and TV drama filming location and studio.

The Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines (Chinese: 順益臺灣原住民博物館; pinyin: Shùnyì Yáiwān Yuán Zhùmín Bówùguǎn) is a museum located just 200 meters diagonally across from the National Palace Museum in Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan. It houses exhibits relating to the cultures and histories of the Taiwanese aborigines.

The Shuangxi Park and Chinese Garden (Chinese: 雙溪公園; pinyin: shuāngxī gōngyuán) is a park and garden located in Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan on Zhishan Road. The total area of the park is 2 hectares. Built in 1974 the southern Chinese courtyard style architecture. It features pavilions, courtyards, arch bridges, zig-zag bridges, and corridors.

Soochow University (Chinese: 東吳大學) is a top private university in Taipei, Taiwan. Although Soochow University maintains a church and a Methodist minister in residence, it may be considered a secular institution. The university is noted for studies in comparative law and accounting.

The Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium (Chinese: 臺北市立天母棒球場; pinyin: Táiběi Shìlì Tiānmǔ Bàngqiú Chǎng) is a baseball stadium located in Tianmu Sport Park in Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was built in 1999, and mostly hosts baseball games. Originally designed as community ballpark, Tianmu Stadium is located in a rather high price residential neighborhood of Tianmu, and many sound and light restrictions in regard of the usage of the stadium are in place.

Taipei Adventist American School (TAAS) is a private foreign-registered elementary school with an American-based curriculum located on Yangming Shan (陽明山) in the Shihlin District of Taipei City, Taiwan. It is administered under the Northern Asia-Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
