City Island Avenue

City Island is a neighborhood in the Bronx, New York City, located on an island of the same name approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) long by 0.5 miles (0.80 km) wide. City Island is located at the extreme western end of Long Island Sound, south of Pelham Bay and east of Eastchester Bay.As of the 2010 census the island had a population of 4,362.

The house at 175 Belden Street is a historic home located on City Island in the Bronx in New York City. It was built about 1880 and is a simple, small picturesque cottage with an asymmetrical cruciform plan.It was listed as a New York City Designated Landmark in 1981 and on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Grace Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church at 116 City Island Avenue in The Bronx, New York, New York. The church was built in 1862 in the Carpenter Gothic style, and the rectory was built around that year in the Italian Villa style.The complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Public School 17 is a historic school located at City Island in the Bronx, New York City. It was designed by architect C. B. J. Snyder (1860–1945) and built in 1897 in the Neo-Georgian style. A rear addition was built in 1930. It is a two-story, five-bay brick building on a high basement. It features a shallow wooden entrance porch with Doric order columns.
