Carmel Pak U Secondary School (Chinese: 迦密柏雨中學; Jyutping: gaa1 mat6 paak3 jyu5 zung1 hok6) is a Christian fundamentalism co-educational secondary school in Tai Po, Hong Kong.

Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital (Chinese: 雅麗氏何妙齡那打素醫院; Cantonese Yale: Ngáhlaihsih Hòhmiuhlìhng Nàhdásou Yīyún) is an acute district general hospital managed under the New Territories East Cluster of the Hospital Authority in Hong Kong. Established by the former London Missionary Society in 1887, it was the first teaching hospital in Hong Kong to train cantonese locals in western medical science.

Hong Kong Note Printing Limited prints the bank notes of all the three note-issuing banks in Hong Kong. The banknote printing plant was founded in 1984 by Thomas De La Rue in Tai Po Industrial Estate. In April 1996, the Hong Kong Government purchased the plant through the Exchange Fund, and operated it under the current name.

Tai Po Waterfront Park (Chinese: 大埔海濱公園) is a park in Tai Po in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It is located along the Tolo Harbour, and its western end is at the northern part of the mouth of the Lam Tsuen River. It occupies an area of 22 hectares (54 acres), and is the largest park managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Tai Po Lookout Tower (Chinese: 香港回歸紀念塔) is a large-scale landmark established to mark the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong to the PRC in 1997. It is located near the mouth of the Lam Tsuen River and next to the shore of Tolo Harbour, within Tai Po Waterfront Park, in Tai Po, Hong Kong.Unrelated to the similarly named Tai Po Lookout (which is now a private residence), the Tai Po Lookout Tower is a local tourist attraction.

Tai Po Methodist School (Chinese: 大埔循道衛理小學; Jyutping: daai6 bou3 ceon4 dou6 wai6 lei5 siu2 hok6), founded in 1992, was the first Protestant, full-time primary school belonging to the Methodist Church, Hong Kong. There are 30 classes in total, and about 1,000 students and 47 teachers. Miss Ouyang Meichan (歐陽美嬋) is the current principal.

Yuen Chau Tsai, was an island in Tolo Harbour, Hong Kong. It is now connected to land by a causeway after land reclamation. It is part of Tai Po New Town in the Tai Po District.The Tai Wong Yeh Temple and Island House are located in the area of the former island.
