Gorton High School (GHS or G-High) is a public high school for grades 9-12, in Yonkers, New York, operated by the Yonkers Public Schools.

The Alexander Smith Carpet Mills Historic District is a national historic district located at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It includes 85 contributing buildings. It encompasses 19 stylistically varied mill buildings and six rows of workers' housing. They were developed between 1871 and 1930 along the banks of the Saw Mill River.

The Delavan Terrace Historic District is located along the street of that name in Yonkers, New York, United States. It consists of 10 buildings (12 when originally designated), all houses. In 1983 it was recognized as a historic district and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The houses were home to a number of prominent industrialists in Yonkers at the time, since they enjoyed an excellent view over the Hudson River.

Ethan Flagg House-Blessed Sacrament Monastery is a historic home and monastery located at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1855, with additions made in 1922 and in 1954. The house is a two-story, five-bay wide brick building on a rock faced, random ashlar base in the Italianate style.

Halcyon Place Historic District is a national historic district located at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It includes 12 contributing buildings. They are residential structures representative of the Queen Anne and turn of the 20th century revival styles, including Classical Revival. They were built between 1901 and 1924 and developed as a planned, middle-class suburban development.

Leffingwell–Batcheller House is a historic home located at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was designed by noted New York architect R. H. Robertson and built between about 1887 and 1889. It is a 2 1/2-story, masonry and frame dwelling in the Queen Anne style. It has a hipped roof with gabled dormers and sheathed in rough-hewn brownstone, pressed and common brick, wood shingle, and wood clapboard.

Public Bath House No. 2 is a historic public bath located at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1898 and is a two-story, three bay wide building built of yellowish-orange brick in the Romanesque style. It features a wide, centrally placed segmental-arched window. The interior was in three sections: reception area, custodian's apartment, and the baths.

Palisade Preparatory School (Palisade Prep or PPS) is a public middle high school and a former College Board School, comprising grades 7–12, in Yonkers, New York, United States. It is operated by the Yonkers Public Schools. Palisade Preparatory School serves approximately 628 students.

Sacred Heart High School is a co-educational private, Roman Catholic high school in Yonkers, New York. It is in the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. It is the only Catholic high school in Yonkers. It was founded in 1923 and named after the most holy Sacred Heart of Jesus. At the time of its founding, the Sacred Heart community was predominantly composed of Irish-American immigrants, which has had a large influence on the school's image and mascot.

Oakland Cemetery is located at 2 Saw Mill River Road in the Whitney Young section of Yonkers, New York. It was first established in around 1783 and was originally used to bury soldiers from the Revolutionary War operating under the name of St. John’s Burial Grounds. It belonged to St. John’s Parish. It was incorporated in 1875 and changed to Oakland Cemetery.
