Aldridge

The Beacon Way is a long distance walk of around 40 kilometres (25 mi) through the West Midlands county and Staffordshire, in the Midlands of England. It takes its name from Barr Beacon, a hill to the east of Walsall, and one of the highest points in the West Midlands. The Beacon Way starts at Sandwell Park Farm in Sandwell Valley Country Park and extends as far as Gentleshaw Common where it connects with the Heart of England Way.

Daw End Railway Cutting (grid reference SK035002) is an 8.1 hectare (20.9 acre) geological site of Special Scientific Interest in the West Midlands. The site was notified in 1986 under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and is currently managed by the Country Trust.

Walsall Aerodrome, also known as Walsall Airport, Walsall Municipal Airport, and later as Walsall Aldridge Airport was an airport at Aldridge, Staffordshire, England, serving the town of Walsall, north Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield (Aldridge is now part of Walsall, and in the West Midlands county).

Harden is an area to the north of Walsall and borders with Bloxwich, Blakenall Heath, Coalpool, Goscote and Rushall. The whole area was part of the industrial revolution, with mining and metal processing being the main industries. Although close to the A34 main road from the Stoke (potteries) to Birmingham, it is still served by canals.

Rushall Olympic Football Club is an English football club based in Rushall, a former mining village now forming part of the northern suburbs of Walsall. The team plays in the Southern League Premier Division Central.

Ryecroft is a residential area of Walsall in the West Midlands of England. It is situated to the north of the town centre and is centred on the main A34 road in the direction of Stafford.The housing in Ryecroft is predominantly turn-of-the-20th century private terraces and interwar council semi-detached houses; the most significant landmark in the area is probably the local cemetery.
