The Avenue of Stars (Chinese: 星光大道), modelled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is an avenue located along the Victoria Harbour waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. It honours celebrities of the Hong Kong film industry.

East Tsim Sha Tsui (Chinese: 尖東; Cantonese Yale: Jīmdūng) is a station of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system of Hong Kong. It is currently an intermediate station on the West Rail line.The station was built to alleviate surface traffic jams and passenger congestion at Kowloon Tong station. The distance from Hung Hom to the station is about one kilometre with the journey time of around two minutes.

HMS Minden was a Royal Navy 74-gun Ganges-class third-rate ship of the line, launched on 19 June 1810. She was named after the German town Minden and the Battle of Minden of 1759, a decisive victory of British and Prussian forces over France in the Seven Years' War. The town is about 75 km away from Hanover, from where the House of Hanover comes—the dynasty which ruled the United Kingdom from 1714 until 1901.

All of present-day Tsim Sha Tsui East and Hung Hom Station on the MTR as well as the Hung Hom Ferry Pier are on land reclaimed from the bay.
