Paris vincennes

The Château de Vincennes is a massive 14th and 17th century French royal fortress in the town of Vincennes, to the east of Paris, now a suburb of the metropolis.

Lac Daumesnil is a lake in Paris, France. Its surface area is 0.12 km². It is surrounded by "promenade Maurice Boitel".

The Cité nationale de l'histoire de l'immigration is a museum of immigration history located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris at 293, avenue Daumesnil. The nearest métro station is Porte Dorée. It is open daily except Monday; an admission fee is charged.The museum was conceived in 1989 by Algerian immigrant Zaïr Kedadouche, supported initially by historians including Pierre Milza and Gérard Noiriel, and established by President Jacques Chirac with a mission to "contribute to the recognition of the integration of immigrants into French society and advance the views and attitudes on immigration in France".

Bérault is a station on Paris Métro Line 1. It is situated at the boundary between the communes of Saint-Mandé and Vincennes. It is named after the nearby Place Bérault, which honors a former deputy mayor of Vincennes (1796–1871). It also evokes the name of Bérault Stuart d'Aubigny, a captain of the guard at the Chateau de Vincennes c.

Bégin Military Teaching Hospital (French: Hôpital d'instruction des armées Bégin) is a military hospital at 69, avenue de Paris, in Saint-Mandé in the Val-de-Marne, near Paris. It is named after Louis Jacques Bégin, military surgeon of the French Empire.

The Chaussée de l’Étang is a street in the city of Saint-Mandé in the Val-de-Marne and, since 1992, part of the 12th arrondissement of Paris, France (more precisely the "Bel-Air" southern neighbourhood). The buildings are located on the even numbers side, under the administration of the city of Saint-Mandé.

The Pagode du bois de Vincennes is the seat of the Institut international bouddhique founded by Jean Sainteny who was the manager of the institute. It is located in a former building of the exposition coloniale de 1931, designed by the architect Louis-Hippolyte Boileau. On this 8 000 m² site on the edge of the lac Daumesnil are located two buildings of remarkable architecture.

The Paris Colonial Exhibition (or "Exposition coloniale internationale", International Colonial Exhibition) was a six-month colonial exhibition held in Paris, France in 1931 that attempted to display the diverse cultures and immense resources of France's colonial possessions.

The Musée national des Arts d'Afrique et d'Océanie (National Museum of Arts of Africa and Oceania) was a museum formerly located in the Palais de la Porte Dorée on the edge of the Bois de Vincennes at 293, avenue Daumesnil in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, France.The museum began as the colonial exhibition of 1931, was renamed in 1935 the Musée de la France d’Outre-mer, then in 1960 the Musée des Arts africains et océaniens, and finally in 1990 the Musée national des Arts d'Afrique et d'Océanie.
