National Chengchi University (Chinese: 國立政治大學; shortened as "政大") is a national research university, and the earliest public service training facility in the Republic of China. First established in Nanjing in 1927, the university was subsequently relocated to Taipei in 1954. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious and prominent universities in Taiwan.

Maokong (Chinese: 貓空; pinyin: Māokōng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Niau-khang; literally: 'cat hole') is located in Wenshan District of Taipei, Taiwan. The area used to be the biggest tea growing area of Taipei. There are many intertwining footpaths which have been used to transport tea. Now, it is a popular place for tea culture and viewing the night scenery of Taipei City.

Zhinan Temple (Chinese: 指南宮; pinyin: Zhĭnán Gōng; also called Chinese: 仙公廟, Xiāngōng Miào; also unofficially anglicized as "Chihnan" or "Jhihnan") is a Taoist temple on the slopes of Houshan (猴山, "Monkey Mountain") in Muzha, a suburb of Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded in 1882. The temple's main deity is Lü Dongbin, one of the Eight Immortals.

Maokong Station is the terminal station of the Maokong Gondola of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, located in Wenshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It provides access to the town of Maokong, which the station is named after.

The College of Foreign Languages and Literature (simplified Chinese: 外国语文学院; traditional Chinese: 外國語文學院; pinyin: Wàiguóyǔwén Xuéyuàn; abbreviated NCCU CFLL) at National Chengchi University (NCCU) was established in 1989.The college was detached from the "College of Liberal Arts" in 1989. NCCU CFLL is the first public college of foreign languages and literature established and also regarded nationally as one of the best CFLL in Taiwan.

Zhinan Temple Station (Chinese: 指南宮站; pinyin: Zhǐnán Gōng Zhàn) is a station on the Maokong Gondola of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, located in Wenshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is named for the nearby Chi Nan Temple.
