Bergen Technical Museum (Norwegian: Bergens Tekniske Museum) is a technical museum located at Møhlenpris in Bergen, Norway. It is owned and run by various local membership groups with each their own specialized collections, which is collectively displayed in an old tram depot.The museum is the starting place and acts as a depot for Bergen's Electric Tramway, which runs a heritage tramway service.

Hans Majestet Pinnsvinet (eng. His Majesty the Hedgehog), or Erinaceus europaeus minor, Rex et Inspirator, is the high protector of Studentersamfunnet i Bergen (eng. Bergen Student Society). The Majesty appeared in 1935, one year after the Student Society was founded. To appoint an animal as protector is a tradition in Norwegian student organisations, dating back too 1859 when Norwegian Students' Society in Oslo selected a pig as their highest protector.

The West Norway Museum of Decorative Art (Norwegian: Vestlandske kunstindustrimuseum) was established in 1887 at the initiative of Johan Bøgh. In 1896 the museum moved into a permanent exhibition building, a Renaissance Revival structure designed by Henry Bucher (1864–1944). The building caught fire during the 1916 Bergen fire but was saved.

Lille Lungegårdsvannet or Smålungeren is a small 5 acres (0.020 km2) lake in the centre of the city of Bergen in Hordaland county, Norway. The octagonal lake is a natural lake that was historically connected to the nearby Store Lungegårdsvannet bay via a short strait, but the strait was filled in 1926.

Bergen Light Rail (Norwegian: Bybanen) is a light rail system in Bergen, Norway. The first stage of the project was a twenty-station stretch between the city center and Lagunen Storsenter, where the first 15 stations comprising a 9.8-kilometre (6.1 mi) stretch opened in 2010, and the second was a 3.6-kilometre (2.2 mi) stretch from Nesttun to Lagunen which opened in June 2013.

The Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Bergen, Norway was founded as a Centre of Excellence by the Research Council of Norway. It operated from 2002 to 2012.The organization's site defined its goal as: "to enhance our understanding of Europe as a whole, in the Middle Ages as well as today, from a peripheral point of view".

Bergen Student-TV (BSTV) is a local community television station based in Bergen, Norway. The channel's main purpose is to deliver news and entertainment to students of Bergen. The employees are students, working voluntarily to get more media experience. Until 2009 BSTV had weekly shows on the local broadcaster BTV.

Løvstakken is one of the Seven Mountains that surround the center of the city of Bergen in Hordaland county, Norway. The 477-metre (1,565 ft) tall mountain is located between the Fyllingsdalen and Bergensdalen valleys on the Bergen Peninsula. Løvstakken and the forests nearby are popular hiking areas among the locals since it is essentially located in the central area of Norway's second largest city.

Det Akademiske Kvarter, more commonly known as Kvarteret, is a student cultural center in Bergen, Norway. It is situated on Olav Kyrres gate in the center of Bergen, within walking distance of both the main shopping areas and the University of Bergen.

Studentersamfunnet i Bergen, (eng. Bergen Student Society), is the oldest public student organisation in Bergen, Norway. It was founded in 1934, 12 years before the University of Bergen, by students and academics from Bergen Museum founded in 1825 and seat of higher education and research in Western Norway.
