Downtown Marshall

First Congregational Church is a historic Congregational church located at 202 N 6th Street in Marshall, Illinois. Built in 1909, the church was the third built for Marshall's First Congregation, which was established in 1841. The Gray Construction Company built the church in the Richardsonian Romanesque style.

The Archer House Hotel is a historic hotel located at 717 Archer Ave. in Marshall, Illinois. William B. Archer, the founder of Marshall, opened the hotel in 1841. The brick hotel was one of the most lavish buildings in the city upon its opening. As a stopping point for stagecoach lines, the hotel was also the city's social center and the first place to receive out-of-town news.

The Clark County Courthouse is a government building in Marshall, the county seat of Clark County, Illinois, United States. Completed in 1903, it is the fifth courthouse in the third community in Clark County's history.

Harlan Hall is a historic opera house located at 603 Locust St. in Marshall, Illinois. The opera house opened in 1872 to provide a venue for theatrical performances in Marshall. The building has an Italianate design with tall, narrow windows, wide bracketed eaves, and a steeply sloping roof. Both local and traveling theatrical acts performed in the theater, which also hosted concerts, public meetings, and other events.

The John W. Lewis House is a historic house located at 503 Chestnut St. in Marshall, Illinois. The house was built between 1906 and 1908 for John W. Lewis, a politician and early settler of Clark County. Architects Barber & Kluttz designed the ​2 1⁄2-story Classical Revival house. A white two-story verandah marks the front entrance of the house.

The Marshall Business Historic District is a historic district located in downtown Marshall, Illinois. The district encompasses the city's historic commercial center and includes 56 buildings and structures, 46 of which are contributing buildings. Marshall's courthouse square is a central feature of the district; the square includes the Italian Renaissance Revival Clark County Courthouse, which was built in 1903.

The Manly-McCann House is a historic building located at 402 S. 4th St. in Marshall, Illinois. The Greek Revival building was constructed in 1838 to serve as a temporary courthouse for Clark County. While Clark County moved its county seat to Marshall in 1837, a permanent courthouse could not be completed until 1839, so a smaller temporary building became necessary.

Marshall is a city in and the county seat of Clark County, Illinois, United States, located approximately 20 miles (32 km) west of Terre Haute, Indiana. The population was 3,933 at the 2010 census.
