Chapultepec Castle

Chapultepec Castle (Spanish: Castillo de Chapultepec) is located on top of Chapultepec Hill. The name Chapultepec stems from the Nahuatl word chapoltepēc which means "at the grasshopper's hill". The Battle of Chapultepec in September 1847 was an assault by American forces on the Mexican forces holding Chapultepec in Mexico City. The castle, sitting atop a 200-foot (60 m) tall hill, was an important position for the defense of the city. For the Battle for Mexico City of which the Battle of Chapultepec is a part, Gen Scott's US Army totaled 7,200 men, and Gen Santa Anna's Mexican Army totaled about 15,000.

If built, at 300 meters (984 ft) tall, it would surpass the Torre Mayor as the holder of the title of Tallest Building in Mexico and same height as the highest building in Latin America. Torre Bicentenario was officially canceled, as announced by the local government and the involved investors on September 28, 2007.

Torre del Caballito

Torre del Caballito is a skyscraper located on the Paseo de la Reforma #10 at the Cuauhtemoc delegation in Mexico City. It was designed by Grupo Posadas de Mexico. It is 135 metres (443 feet) and 35 storeys tall. 33 of the floors are used as office space which measures 60,000 square meters. It also has 15 underground parking levels.
