Haeundae Beach is an urban beach in Busan, South Korea. Often dubbed one of the country's most famous and popular beaches, in this located in the eponymous Haeundae District.The beach is busy year-round, and various festivals are held there throughout the year. A popular beach event, "Polar Bear Club", during which participants bath in near freezing water, has been held annually since 1988 in January.

It became a division of Busan in 1976 and attained the status of gu in 1980.Haeundae is an affluent beach front community that attracts tens of thousands of tourists during summer.

Sea Life Busan Aquarium is an aquarium located in Haeundae Beach, South Korea.There are about 250 species and up to 35,000 marine animals on display. The main tank contains 3,000,000 litres (790,000 US gal) of water, and the animals can be viewed through acrylic windows or from the 80-metre (260 ft) underwater tunnel.
