The Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (the official title is the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (Russian: Новосибирский государственный академический театр оперы и балета)) is one of the most important theatres in Novosibirsk and Siberia. It is located at the center of Novosibirsk at Lenin square.

Novosibirsk-Glavny is the primary passenger railway station for the city of Novosibirsk in Russia, and an important stop along the Trans-Siberian Railway and Turkestan–Siberia Railway. The station is one of the largest in Russia. The main building takes an area of 30,000 square metres.

Novosibirsk State Medical Academy (NSMA) (Russian: Новосибирский государственный медицинский университет, НГМУ) - a medical academy in Novosibirsk, Russia for training qualified doctors.It was organized in 1935 when the medical faculty was opened. Until 1999 it was known as the Novosibirsk medical institute.
