Sochi Marathon

Sochi (Russian: Со́чи, IPA: [ˈsotɕɪ] (listen)) is a city in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Black Sea coast near the border between Georgia/Abkhazia and Russia. The Greater Sochi area, which includes territories and localities subordinated to Sochi proper, has a total area of 3,526 square kilometers (1,361 sq mi) and sprawls for 145 kilometers (90 mi) along the shores of the Black Sea near the Caucasus Mountains.

The Commercial Sea Port of Sochi (Russian: Сочинский морской торговый порт) is a seaport on the Black Sea, the main focus of which is marine passenger transportation. Its headquarters is in the Central District of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia.

The Sochi Arboretum is a unique collection of subtropical flora and fauna. It is a monument of landscape architecture located in the Khosta district of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, in Russia. It includes 76 species of pine, 80 species of oak, and 24 species of palm.

The Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel is the oldest Orthodox church in Sochi and the entire Black Sea Oblast of the former Russian Empire. Its construction was decreed by Grand Duke Michael Nikolaevich of Russia with a view to commemorating the victorious conclusion of the prolonged Caucasian War in 1864.

The Sochi (Russian: Сочи Soči; Abkhaz Шәача Š°ača Caucasian pronunciation: [ʃʷatɕʰa]; Adyghe Шъачэ; Ubykh Шьача) is a river in the city of Sochi in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is 45 kilometres (28 mi) long, and the area of its basin 296 square kilometres (114 sq mi). Originating at Bolshaya Shura Mountain in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, it flows southwest and enters the Black Sea at Sochi, itself named for the river and site of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

The concert hall Festivalny is an entertainment facilities in the central region of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia.The opening of the hall took place on July 14, 1979.
