Southern Federal University (Russian: Южный федеральный университет), abbreviated as SFedU (Russian: ЮФУ) and formerly known as Rostov State University (1957–2006), is a public university in Rostov Oblast, Russia with campuses in Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog.

The Rostov City Hall is an edifice in the Leninsky District of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. The house is located at 47 Bolshaya Sadovaya Street (Russian: Большая Садовая улица, 47) at the intersection of Bolshaya Sadovaya Street and Semashko lane. The building was designed in the Beaux-Arts style. It is recognized as a historical landmark, has official status as an object of Russian cultural heritage, and contains the Rostov-on-Don Administration.

Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure (Russian: Центральный парк культуры и отдыха имени Горького, tr. The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Theotokos (Russian: Кафедральный собор во имя Рождества Пресвятой Богородицы) is the main church of the city of Rostov-on-Don and the Orthodox Diocese of Rostov and Novocherkassk. It succeeded the Novocherkassk Cathedral as the main place of Christian worship in the Don region.

The Bahchisaraytsev House (Russian: Дом Бахчисарайцева, tr. Dom Bahchisaraytseva) is a historic house in Rostov-on-Don, Russia located at the intersection of Socialist street and Budenovsky Prospekt (Pr. Budennovsky, 26/57). The building was built in the early twentieth century and belonged to Bahchisaraystev Grigory Khristoforovich, the vowel of the Rostov city Duma.

The Chernov House (Russian: Дом Чернова, tr. Dom Chernova) is an edifice in the Kirovsky District of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. The house is located at 69 Bolshaya Sadovaya street (Russian: Большая Садовая, 69) at the intersection of Voroshilovsky avenue and Bolshaya Sadovaya street. It was a revenue house.

The Kisin House (Russian: Дом Кисина, tr. Dom Kisina) is an edifice in the Leninsky District of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. The house is located at 72 Moskovskaya street (Russian: Московская улица, 72). The building is also considered to be an object of cultural heritage.

The Kostanayev House (Russian: Дом Костанаева, tr. Dom Kostanayeva) is an edifice in the Leninsky District of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. The house is located at 37 Semashko lane (Russian: переулок Семашко, 37) at the intersection of Bol'shaya Sadovaya Street and Semashko lane. The building was designed in the Beaux-Arts style.

Monument of the Great October Revolution (Russian: Памятник Великой Октябрьской революции) is a bronze monument dedicated to the October Revolution and establishment of the Soviet rule in Rostov-on-Don. Sculptor V. Dubovik and architect E. Polyanskiy created design of the sculptures of three men: a soldier, a seaman and a peasant.

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Russian: (Греческая церковь в честь Благовещения Пресвятой Девы Марии) was a Greek Orthodox church constructed in 1909 in Rostov-on-Don. In Soviet times, the church was demolished, and the Puppet Theatre was built on its foundations. A new Greek church of the Annunciation was built close to the site of the demolished one in 2014.
