Worsley () is a suburb in Greater Manchester, England, which in 2014 had a population of 10,090. It lies along Worsley Brook, 5.75 miles (9.25 km) west of Manchester. The M60 motorway bisects the area.Historically part of Lancashire, there is evidence of Roman and Anglo-Saxon activity, including two Roman roads.

Worsley and Eccles South is a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The seat is currently held by Barbara Keeley MP of the Labour Party. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. It is favourable mostly to the Labour Party, though it does contain two of the Conservatives' strongest wards in the City of Salford (Worsley, Boothstown and Ellenbrook).

Walkden railway station is one of the principal stations that lie on the Manchester to Southport Line in England. The station is located 8 1⁄4 miles (13.3 km) north-west of Manchester with regular Northern services to these towns as well as Salford, Swinton and Hindley. It was opened by the Lancashire and Yorkshire RailwayOne of the busier stations on the line, the station used to be known as Walkden High Level to differentiate it from the London and North Western Railway's Walkden Low Level railway station (on the line from Manchester Exchange to Bolton Great Moor Street, which was closed to passengers in 1954).

Monton Mill was a cotton spinning mill in Eccles, Greater Manchester, England, built in 1906. It was taken over by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation in the 1930s and passed to Courtaulds in 1964. Production finished, it was demolished but its name is preserved in the street name.
