The Wilma H. Schiermeier Olentangy River Wetland Research Park is an experimental wetland complex located adjacent to the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States and is part of the School of Environment and Natural Resources at the university. Begun in 1992, the park has developed into a multitude of different habitats and setups which are used by OSU faculty and students for research.

The arena was named for Lynn St. John, who served as Ohio State's men's basketball coach and athletic director until 1947.Located on north campus between Woody Hayes Drive and Lane Avenue, the 13,276-seat arena was built in 1956.

The Blackwell Inn is named after Roger D. Blackwell, a marketing professor who pledged $7 million to the university in 2001. Management is run by The Office of Student Life.

The OSU Ice Rink is a 1,000-seat hockey rink located at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The rink was built in 1961 and houses the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey team. The men's hockey team occupied the facility from 1963 until 1998, when the Value City Arena was completed.

The Jack Nicklaus Museum is a museum focused on and honoring championship golfer Jack Nicklaus. It is on the campus of Ohio State University in the golfer's home town of Columbus, Ohio.The museum, opened in 2002, is a state-of-the-art, 24,000-square-foot (2,200 m2) facility offering a comprehensive view of Nicklaus' life and career in and out of golf as well as exhibits celebrating the history and legends of the game.

The Lane Avenue Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Olentangy River in the American city of Columbus, Ohio. Designed by Jones-Stuckey Ltd., the construction was completed on November 14, 2003, after only sixteen months, five months ahead of schedule. The bridge is 113 meters (371 feet) in length, carrying six 3.5 meters (11 feet) wide lanes for vehicle traffic, as well as two 3.5 meter sidewalks.

Camp Thomas was a United States Regular Army training facility located in North Columbus, Ohio (now Columbus), during the American Civil War. It was primarily used to organize and train new infantry regiments for service in the Western Theater.

Whetstone High School is a public high school located at 4405 Scenic Drive in Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools and the neighborhood of Clintonville. Whetstone's mascot is the Brave.The school opened in 1961 to accommodate the overflow from North High School. The expanding student base brought on by growth in north Columbus created the need for an additional school.
