Tel Aviv Embankment

The Altalena Affair was a violent confrontation that took place in June 1948 by the newly created Israel Defense Forces against the Irgun (also known as IZL), one of the Jewish paramilitary groups that were in the process of merging to form the IDF. The confrontation involved a cargo ship, Altalena, captained by Monroe Fein and led by senior IZL commander Eliyahu Lankin, which had been loaded with weapons and fighters by the independent Irgun, but arrived during the murky period of the Irgun's absorption into the IDF.

On 8 March 2016, a 21-year-old West Bank Palestinian man from the Qalqilya killed an American tourist, and United States Army Veteran, Taylor Force and wounded ten other people in a stabbing spree in Jaffa Port, Tel Aviv, Israel. The attacker was shot dead by the police after a chase along the beach promenade.

The Israel Defense Forces History Museum (Hebrew: בתי האוסף‎, Batei HaOsef, lit. The Collection Houses) is a museum dedicated to the history of Israel's military, from the underground organizations active during the British Mandate for Palestine to the modern Israel Defense Forces. The museum is located in southern Tel Aviv, next to the Jaffa Railway Station.

The Jaffa railway station was the first railway station in the Middle East, serving as the terminus for the Jaffa–Jerusalem railway. The station was inaugurated in 1891 and closed in 1948; Between 2005 and 2009 the station was restored and converted to an entertainment and leisure venue, branded as The Station (HaTachanah).

Charles Clore Park (Hebrew: פארק צ'ארלס קלור‎, Park Charles Clore) is a beachfront park in southwestern Tel Aviv, Israel. Covering 29.6-acre (0.120 km2) of public land along the Mediterranean Sea, it's named after Charles Clore, a British financier, property magnate and philanthropist.The park opened to the public in 1974.

Atarim Square (also Namir Square) is a complex of buildings and a public square in Tel Aviv, Israel, designed by architect Yaakov Rechter. It is an example of Brutalist architecture in Israel. The complex is located near the beach in Tel Aviv over Eliezer Peri Street and is connected to the promenade, to Sderot Ben-Gurion (Ben-Gurion Boulevard) and Hayarkon Street.

The Artplus Hotel is a boutique hotel in Tel Aviv that is part of the Atlas Hotels chain in Israel. It was opened in 2009. In addition to focusing on art within the hotel, the hotel's architecture has itself been called a work of art by Jewish Chronicle magazine.
