The Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (English German Electron Synchrotron) commonly referred to by the abbreviation DESY, is a national research center in Germany that operates particle accelerators used to investigate the structure of matter. It conducts a broad spectrum of inter-disciplinary scientific research in three main areas: particle and high energy physics; photon science; and the development, construction and operation of particle accelerators.

Teufelsbrück (Devil's Bridge) is the name of the area around the mouth of Flottbek stream into River Elbe in Hamburg, Germany. It is located in the local subdistrict of Klein Flottbek and today belongs partly to the quarters of Othmarschen and Nienstedten. Initially, Teufelsbrück was the name of the bridge of the street of Elbchaussee over the Flottbek stream, later it was used for the area itself including nearby ferry pier and marina.

Iserbrook is a district in the borough of Altona within the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in North Germany. In 2016 its population was 11,324.

Othmarschen railway station is on the Altona-Blankenese line and served by the city trains, located in Hamburg, Germany. The station was opened in 1897. The rapid transit trains of the line S1 and the line S11 of the Hamburg S-Bahn calls the station in the quarter Othmarschen of the Altona borough. Right along the railway tracks is the border to the quarter Groß Flottbek.
