Bangladesh National Zoo, (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় চিড়িয়াখানা) is a zoo located in the Mirpur section of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. The zoo contains many native and non-native animals and wild life, and hosts about three million visitors each year. The name of zoo has been changed 5 February 2015 from Dhaka Zoo to Bangladesh National Zoo.

Dhaka Commerce College (Bengali: ঢাকা কমার্স কলেজ) is a master's level college in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 1989, it was the first college in Dhaka city to specialise in commerce. Students receive education both in Bangla and English medium. The main founder of this college is professor Kazi Nurul Islam Faruky.

The university was established under the Private University Act 1992.

BCIC College is an educational institution Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is an institution operated by Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation. The college is located in 5.16 acres beautiful and vibrant area near the Dhaka Zoo. Currently, the number of students in the college section is more than 2000.
