Kazan (; Russian: Каза́нь, IPA: [kɐˈzanʲ]; Tatar: Казан) is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. With a population of 1,243,500, it is the sixth most populous city in Russia.Kazan lies at the confluence of the Volga and Kazanka Rivers in European Russia, about 715 kilometres (444 mi) east from Moscow.

Söyembikä Tower (Tatar: Сөембикә манарасы; Russian: Ба́шня Сююмбикэ́), also called the Khan's Mosque, is probably the most familiar landmark and architectural symbol of Kazan. Once the highest structure of that city's kremlin, it used to be one of the so-called leaning towers. By the early 20th century, its inclination was estimated at 194 centimeters (76 in).

Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral (Petropavlovsky Cathedral, Russian: Петропавловский собор) is a Russian Orthodox church in Kazan (Tatarstan). It is one of the most famous churches in Naryshkin Baroque.The temple is consecrated in honour of heavenly Tsar Peter I of Russia patron.Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral is built in 1722.

Kremlyovskaya (Russian: Кремлёвская) is a station of the Kazan Metro. Opened as part of the first stage of the system on 27 August 2005, it is the system's northern terminus.Named after the Kazan Kremlin which is located nearby, architects R.Nurgalieva and S.Mamleyeva along with artist N.Khaziakhmetov incorporated a standard sub-surface single vault technology into the theme of the mythical fortress of the ancient Kazan Khanate.
