Harold Washington Park is a small (10 acre) park in the Chicago Park District located in the Hyde Park community area on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was recently named for lawyer, state legislator, U.S. congressman, Hyde Park resident, and the first African American Chicago Mayor Harold Washington (1922–1987).

T. B. Blackstone Memorial Library is a building that is part of the Chicago Public Library System and is named after Timothy Blackstone. The building was designed by Chicago architect Solon S. Beman. It is now known as the Chicago Public Library – Blackstone Branch and commonly referred to as Blackstone Library, or Blackstone Branch and sometimes Blackstone for short.

Harper Court is a mixed-use commercial development in the Hyde Park community area on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, United States, that includes a Hyatt Hotel and a 12-storey office tower that is leased and occupied by the University of Chicago. Although the hotel opened on September 17, 2013, the commercial structure, which also has extensive retail and parking space, officially opened on November 8, 2013.

The Hampton House is a residential condominium located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois on the property that once housed the Hyde Park House, a hotel built by Hyde Park founder Paul Cornell in the 1850s. The property was originally named the Sisson Hotel when constructed in 1918.

The Hyde Park House was a four-story wood frame upscale hotel in Chicago, built and run by Paul Cornell, that served as the centerpiece for Hyde Park social life from 1857 until 1879. It was located on 53rd Street adjacent to Lake Michigan on land currently occupied by the Hampton House.Cornell successfully marketed Hyde Park as an affluent suburb and resort area.

Akiba-Schechter Jewish Day School is a Jewish day school in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood. It is the only Jewish school on Chicago's South Side and attracts a wide range of students from across the Chicago metropolitan area.

The Hyde Park–Kenwood National Bank Building was built in 1928-29 at 1525 East 53rd Street, Chicago, Illinois, as the headquarters and sole business location of the Hyde Park–Kenwood National Bank, a community bank that served the Chicago neighborhood of Hyde Park. When opened for business in April 1929, this 10-story structure was the largest bank building in Chicago outside of the Chicago Loop.

47th Street (Kenwood) is a commuter rail station within the city of Chicago that serves the Metra Electric Line north to Millennium Station and south to University Park, Blue Island, Illinois, and the neighborhood of South Chicago. This station is a flag stop picking up passengers only when visible to train conductor and discharging passengers only when conductors are notified.

The Chicago Beach Apartments, built in 1929, are located at 5100 South Cornell Avenue in Chicago, USA. Landfilling and other reconfiguration of the lakefront means that the building is not as close to a beach as it once was. Currently known as Scholars Corner Apartments, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 14, 1986.
