Holmbury and pitch hill

Hurtwood House is a 15–19 mixed, independent boarding school and sixth form in Dorking, Surrey, England.

The UCL Mullard Space Science Laboratory (MSSL) is the United Kingdom's largest university space research group. MSSL is the Department of Space and Climate Physics of the University College London. UCL was one of the first universities in the world to conduct space research. Since its establishment, MSSL has participated in 35 satellite missions, 10 of which are currently in operation, and in over 200 sounding rocket experiments.

Holmbury Hill is a wooded area of 261 metres (856 ft) above sea level and the site of an Iron Age hillfort. The Old Saxon word "holm" can be translated as hill and "bury" means fortified place. It sits along the undulating Greensand Ridge its summit being 805 feet (245 m) from the elevated and tightly clustered small village of Holmbury St.

Duke of Kent School is a 3–16 mixed independent school in Ewhurst, Surrey, England.The school was originally founded in 1920 at Vanbrugh Castle to provide education for the sons of Royal Air Force staff who had been killed in service. It moved to Ewhurst in 1976, was merged with Woolpit School, a boys' boarding school, renamed in honour of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and began to admit girls.
