Cannon Falls - Water Route

Cannon Falls is a city in Goodhue County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 4,083 at the 2010 census. Located along U.S. Route 52 southeast of the Twin Cities, Cannon Falls may be best known as the home of Pachyderm Studio, where many famous musicians have recorded. Nirvana is probably the best-known band to use the site.

Lake Byllesby Dam is a concrete gravity dam located in Randolph Township, Dakota County and Stanton Township, Goodhue County, Minnesota, just west of the city of Cannon Falls. It is approximately 30-mile (48 km) southeast of the Twin Cities.The 75-foot (23 m)-high dam was built in 1910 by H.M. Byllesby & Company to impound the Cannon River for hydroelectric power.

The Church of the Redeemer is a historic Episcopal church located at 123 Third Street North in Cannon Falls in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The building was built with limestone and wood in 1867.Episcopal families started meeting in private homes for about eight years before they decided to build a church.

The Firemen's Hall in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, at 206 W. Mill St., was built in 1888. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It was built after fires in 1884 and 1887 devastated the town's business district. It is an 1888 fire station reflecting the peril from and response to fires in the period's communities.

Third Street Bridge is a bridge in Cannon Falls, Minnesota that crosses the Cannon River. It is a Pennsylvania through truss bridge constructed of steel. The bridge is 184.3 feet (56.2 m) long and 17.7 feet (5.4 m) wide. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is also part of the "Iron and Steel Bridges in Minnesota" Multiple Property Nomination.
