Beautiful St. Petersburg

Moskovskaya (Russian: Моско́вская) is a station on the Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro. Although it was opened on December 25, 1969, it is equipped with the so-called platform screen doors. Moskovskaya metro-station is one of the first stations in the world with such a system of doors.

Victory Square (Russian: Пло́щадь Побе́ды, Ploschad Pobedy) in Saint Petersburg, Russia, is named after the Soviet victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is located in the very end of Moskovsky Prospekt near Pulkovo Airport – not in the central part of the city, despite this name being common in the former Soviet cities as a central city square.

Pulkovo Airport, formally Fyodor Dostoyevsky International Airport (Russian: Аэропорт Пулково, IPA: [ˈpulkəvə]) (IATA: LED, ICAO: ULLI) is an international airport serving St. Petersburg, Russia. It consists of one terminal, Terminal 1 which is located 23 km (14 mi) south of the city centre. The airport serves as a hub for Aeroflot and as focus city for Smartavia.
