Bund route

The Bund or Waitan (Chinese: 外滩; pinyin: Wàitān, Shanghainese: nga3thae1, literally: 'Outer Beach') is a waterfront area in central Shanghai. The area centers on a section of Zhongshan Road (East No.1 Zhongshan Road) within the former Shanghai International Settlement, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River in the eastern part of Huangpu District.

Huangpu District, makes up the eastern part of Shanghai's traditional urban core and is today the most central of Shanghai's 16 districts. Huangpu district is the seat of municipal government, includes key attractions such as The Bund and the Old City God Temple, as well as popular shopping districts such as Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road.

The HSBC Building (also known as the Municipal Government Building) is a six-floor neo-classical building in the Bund area of Shanghai, China. It served as the headquarters of the Shanghai branch of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation from 1923 to 1955, and currently houses the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

HMS Peterel was a river gunboat built by Yarrow Shipbuilders at Scotstoun and she was the sixth Royal Navy to carry the name. Her name differed from the accepted modern day spelling for Petrel as per the bird as it reprised the name of the original ship to bear the name (in the eighteenth century "Peterel" had been an accepted alternative spelling).

Renji Hospital (simplified Chinese: 仁济医院; traditional Chinese: 仁濟醫院; pinyin: Rénjì Yīyuàn) is a general hospital in the Pudong District of Shanghai, China, with the rank of "Grade 3, Class A". The hospital is a university hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.

The Custom House (Chinese: 江海關大樓) is an eight story building on the Bund, Shanghai. Built in 1927, the building remains a customs house today. Together with the neighboring HSBC Building, the Custom House is seen as one of the symbols of the Bund and Shanghai.

East Nanjing Road (simplified Chinese: 南京东路; traditional Chinese: 南京東路; pinyin: Nánjīng Dōng Lù) is an interchange station between Lines 2 and 10 on the Shanghai Metro. It is located in Huangpu District, under the intersection of Nanjing Road (E.) and Henan Road (M.) in the city center of Shanghai.Before October 2006, it was known as Middle Henan Road station.

The Shanghai Club Building is a six-storey Baroque Revival building in Shanghai located at No.2, The Bund. Once home to one of the premier men's clubs in Shanghai, the building was used for various clubs and hotels after 1949. It is currently part of the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund.

Line 14Yuyuan Garden (simplified Chinese: 豫园; traditional Chinese: 豫園; pinyin: Yùyuán) is a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located near the famous Yuyuan Garden in Huangpu District, Shanghai. The station entered operation in April 2010.This station will be an interchange station between Line 10 and Line 14 in the future.

Holy Trinity Church, Shanghai (simplified Chinese: 上海圣三一堂; traditional Chinese: 上海聖三一堂; pinyin: Shànghǎi shèng sānyī táng), is a Protestant (formerly Anglican) church in Huangpu District of Shanghai.The church, consecrated in 1869 was designed in a gothic revival style by British architect Sir George Gilbert Scott.
