Camrose is a city in central Alberta, Canada, amid some of the richest farmland in the prairies. It is a relatively small city which grew up along a railway and now grows along Highway 13.

Augustana University College was a Lutheran college in Camrose, Alberta, Canada, from 1910 until it merged in 2004 with the University of Alberta, becoming its Augustana Faculty.

CFCW-FM is a Canadian radio station broadcasting at 98.1 FM in Camrose, Alberta with a country music format branded as New Country 98.1. The station was owned by Newcap Radio until they were bought out by Stingray Digital.The station began broadcasting in 2003 with a country music format that had moved over to CKRA-FM in Edmonton in 2005 to make room for the adult hits format on 98.1 FM.

The Chester Ronning Centre for the Study of Religion and Public Life is a research centre on the University of Alberta's Augustana Campus in Camrose, Alberta. It is the first such centre in a public university in Canada to focus on the intersection of religion and public life.

The 2008 Continental Cup of Curling was the 6th edition of this event and was held from December 18–21, 2008 at the EnCana Arena in Camrose, Alberta. It was the first edition of the Continental Cup in which teams outside of North America and Europe competed, due to the outstanding performance of the Chinese teams in the previous year's men's and women's world championships.

The Augustana Campus is a faculty of the University of Alberta located in Camrose, Alberta, Canada. It was merged into the larger, Edmonton, Alberta-based University in 2004.
