Hangzhou (Mandarin: [xǎŋ.ʈʂóu] (listen); local dialect: /ɦɑ̃.tse/), formerly romanized as Hangchow, is the capital and most populous city of Zhejiang Province in East China. It sits at the head of Hangzhou Bay, which separates Shanghai and Ningbo. Hangzhou grew to prominence as the southern terminus of the Grand Canal and has been one of the most renowned and prosperous cities in China for much of the last millennium.

Leifeng Pagoda (Chinese: 雷峰塔; pinyin: Léifēng Tǎ) is a five story tall tower with eight sides, located on Sunset Hill south of the West Lake in Hangzhou, China. Originally constructed in the year AD 975, it collapsed in 1924 but was rebuilt in 2002. Since then, it has become a popular tourist attraction.

China Academy of Art (Chinese: 中国美术学院), also translated as China National Academy of Fine Arts, is a fine arts college under the direct charge of the Ministry of Culture of China. It was founded in Hangzhou in 1928 by the government of the Republic of China and the renowned educator Cai Yuanpei. It was the first art university and first graduate school in Chinese history.

The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception (Chinese: 圣母无原罪主教座堂; pinyin: Shèngmǔ wúyuánzuì zhǔjiàojǐtáng) is a Roman Catholic cathedral, located at 415 Zhongshan Road North (中山北路415号) not far from Wulin Square (武林广场) in downtown Hangzhou, China. Since it is the only Catholic church currently in service within the city of Hangzhou itself, it is also known simply as Tiānzhǔ Táng (天主堂) or "the Catholic church".

Jingci Temple (simplified Chinese: 净慈寺; traditional Chinese: 淨慈寺; pinyin: Jìngcí Sì) is located at the foot of Huiri Peak of Nanping Hill. It is the second prominent Buddhist temple beside West Lake in Hangzhou, China. Together with Lingyin Temple, it is called the jewel of the southern and northern hills.

Hangzhou High School (Chinese: 浙江省杭州高级中学), or Hanggao, established in 1899, is one of the most famous high schools in Southern China. It was the earliest-founded public high school in Zhejiang Province. There are 52 academicians who graduated from the institution(as of 2018).Hangzhou High School has two campuses, the Gongyuan Campus at No.238, Fengqi Road, and the Qianjiang Campus at No.1958 East Zhijiang Road.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hangzhou/Hangchow (Latin: Hamceuven(sis), Chinese: 杭州) is an archdiocese located in the city of Hangzhou in China. The Archdiocese has not had a bishop with a papal mandate since 1956. Matthew Cao Xiangde was appointed bishop by the Patriotic Association but not recognized by the Vatican.

Fengqi Road (Chinese: 凤起路) is an interchange station between Lines 1 and 2 of the Hangzhou Metro in China. Service on Line 1 commenced on 24 November 2012 along with the rest of the stations on Line 1, while service on Line 2 began on 3 July 2017. It is located in the Xiacheng District of Hangzhou.

The High School Attached to Zhejiang University (Chinese: 浙江大学附属中学; pinyin: Zhèjiāng Dàxué Fùshû Zhōngxué) is one of the first group of approved by Zhejiang Education Committee in China. It is located in 89 Shuguang Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Ding'an Road (Chinese: 定安路) is a station on Line 1 of the Hangzhou Metro in China. It was opened in November 2012, together with the rest of the stations on Line 1. It is located in the Shangcheng District of Hangzhou.
