Starting from London Bridge you will turn left along riverside and walk pass the HMS Belfast and City Hall. Then you head to Tower Bridge where you climb the steps on the gas side. Walk along the bring and use the steps over the river and turn right. At the bottom of the stairs turn right to Saint Katherine’s Dock, here is were there are shops and sailing boats. Head back to Tower Bridge and walk pass the Tower of London and enjoy a river side walk. I finished the walk on Lower Thames Street where you can see The Monument which commemorates the Great Fire of London.

A van was deliberately driven into pedestrians on London Bridge before crashing on the south bank of the River Thames. Its three occupants then ran to the nearby Borough Market area and began stabbing people in and around restaurants and pubs.

The Hawker Hunter Tower Bridge incident occurred on 5 April 1968 when Royal Air Force (RAF) Hawker Hunter pilot Alan Pollock performed unauthorised low flying over several London landmarks and then flew through the span of Tower Bridge on the Thames. His actions were to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the RAF and as a demonstration against the Ministry of Defence (Air) for not recognising it.
