Historic Hudson Patriot Path

Brookside (once called Waterstreet) is an historic unincorporated community within Mendham Township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. It is located approximately 6 mi (9.7 km) west of Morristown.The settlement appeared on maps as early as 1777. A portion of the Patriot's Path, the trail George Washington and his troops marched on, runs through Brookside's woods along the Whippany River.

The Mendham Township Public Schools is a community public school district serving students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in Mendham Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its two schools had an enrollment of 1,121 students and 71.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.6:1.
