The Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) is a state-owned Multi-Speciality hospital, and one of two hospitals in Malé, Republic of Maldives. The hospital is located at the west end of Malé. The hospital is a gift from the Indian Government and is dedicated to Indira Gandhi. IGMH replaced the previous sole hospital, Central Hospital, located at the center of Malé.

The Maldives National University (Dhivehi: ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ޤައުމީ ޔުނިވަރސިޓީ) is a university in the Maldives. The university's mission statement is "To create, discover, preserve and disseminate knowledge that is necessary to enhance the lives and livelihoods of people and essential for the cultural, social and economic development of the society so that this nation can remain free and Islamic forever.” The definite article "the" is a requirement and stated in the University Act.

The National Football Stadium (Dhivehi: ޤައުމީ ފުޓްބޯޅަ ދަނޑު) also known as the Rasmee Dhandu Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Malé, Maldives. It is used mostly for football matches of the Dhivehi League, FAM Cup, and International matches. The stadium holds around 11,000 spectators. The stadium was renovated to upgrade certain facilities including a media box for 2014 AFC Challenge Cup and was re-branded as National Football Stadium.

The Islamic Centre (officially named Masjid-al-Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu Al Auzam) is an architectural landmark in Malé, Maldives opened in November 1984 by President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.The Grand Friday Mosque located in the Centre is named after the one of the most celebrated Maldivian heroes, Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu Al Auzam of the Maldives.

Television Maldives is the public service broadcasting TV channel of the Maldives. Majeediyya School (Dhivehi: މަޖީދިއްޔާ ސުކޫލް ) is the first Maldivian government school, located in Malé, Maldives. It was a single gender school that used to teach only boys students to the secondary level of education until the introduction of Primary Education in 2010 when the school was opened to both genders.

Centre For Higher Secondary Education more commonly known as CHSE is a Government run Higher Secondary school in Malé, Maldives which caters only to "A" level students. CHSE was inaugurated under the name of Science Education Centre or SEC, with the aim of producing students qualified enough to enter universities abroad.
