Central Park

Central Park is a 90-hectare (220-acre) urban park in Burnaby, British Columbia, founded in 1891.The park is on the Vancouver–Burnaby border, just west of the Metropolis at Metrotown shopping complex, and is bounded by Boundary Road on the west, Kingsway on the north, Patterson and Willingdon Avenues on the east, and Imperial Road on the south.

Swangard Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Central Park in Burnaby, British Columbia. Primarily used for soccer, rugby, football, and athletics, the stadium also used to be home to the Simon Fraser Clan football team and the Vancouver Whitecaps while they were in the Canadian Soccer League (CSL) and various US-based Division 2 leagues.

Patterson is an elevated station on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located at the intersection of Central Boulevard and Patterson Avenue in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is the westernmost Expo Line station in Burnaby.

Maywood is a mainly-rental low income residential neighborhood in Burnaby, and is a part of the larger Metrotown area. The neighborhood consists of low-rise apartments built during the population boom in the Metrotown area in the 70's, and 80's. Geographically, the Maywood neighbourhood's boundaries are Grange Street and Kingsway to the north, Nelson Avenue and Bennett and Bonsor Streets to the east, Imperial Street to the south and Boundary Road to the west, and it includes Central Park.
