Butler Street is a street in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which is the main commercial thoroughfare of the Lawrenceville neighborhood. Since the early 2000s, it has become a center for arts, dining, and music, with many local businesses including bars, restaurants, breweries, and specialty shops. It is named for the city of Butler, Pennsylvania, whose namesake was Maj.

Saint Mary Cemetery is a Roman Catholic burial ground located at 45th and Penn Avenues in the Central Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. It is adjacent (just south) of the city's slightly older and much larger Allegheny Cemetery. A chain-link fence separates the two cemeteries.

St. Mary's Church is a historic former Catholic church in the Lawrenceville of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1874 and was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 1971. The St. Mary's Church property also includes the St. Mary's Academy building, a Pittsburgh historic landmark.

James Wallace Conant (August 10, 1862 – March 14, 1906) was an amusement manager who later became the manager of the Schenley Park Casino, as well as the first manager of the Duquesne Gardens, the first indoor ice rinks in the city of Pittsburgh. Conant is credited with bringing the sport of ice hockey to Pittsburgh, since the indoor ice rinks lured many Canadian players to the city.

The Saint Mary's Academy Building is a historic building in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Built in 1854, it is a notable example of Greek Revival architecture and one of the neighborhood's only surviving buildings dating to the pre-Civil War era. It was the first structure built by St.

The Butler Street Gatehouse at Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was built 1848 in the Gothic Revival style by John Chislett, Pittsburgh's first well-known architect and the founder of the cemetery. A chapel and offices, designed by Henry Moser, were added in 1870.The gatehouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
