AlphaGo versus Lee Sedol, also known as the Google DeepMind Challenge Match, was a five-game Go match between 18-time world champion Lee Sedol and AlphaGo, a computer Go program developed by Google DeepMind, played in Seoul, South Korea between 9 and 15 March 2016. AlphaGo won all but the fourth game; all games were won by resignation.

The climate of Seoul features a humid continental climate with dry winter, called "Dwa" in the Köppen climate classification. Gwanghwamun Plaza (Korean: 광화문광장; Hanja: 光化門廣場, also known as Gwanghwamun Square) is a public open space on Sejongno, Jongno-gu in Seoul, South Korea. The plaza was opened on 1 August 2009 by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and is part of the City's plans for environmentally friendly renovation projects such as the Cheonggye Stream and Seoul Plaza.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency (SMPA; Hangul: Korean: 서울지방경찰청; ; Hanja: 서울地方警察廳) is the primary police force for the South Korean capital city of Seoul; it is not an independent police force in of itself, but is one of 16 provincial sub-divisions of the National Police Agency. The SMPA is headquartered along with the National Police Headquarters in Seoul itself.

The National Palace Museum of Korea is a national museum of South Korea located in Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul.

Gyeongbokgung station is a subway station on the Seoul Subway Line 3.Gyeongbokgung station is the subway station nearest to the Gyeongbokgung. The station is also near the Government Complex-Seoul and the National Police Agency of South Korea. There are other administrative buildings in the neighborhood.
