Small town ramble

The historic Humboldt Post Office building is located at the corner of Main Street and 6th Avenue in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada. The building is 2 1/2 storeys with a 4-storey bell and clock tower. Designed by the chief architect of the Department of Public Works, David Ewart, the building is the last surviving of a series of very similar buildings under a common theme on the prairies.

Humboldt is a city in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. It is located 113 km east of Saskatoon at the junction of Highway 5 and Highway 20. The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Humboldt No. 370.

The Humboldt station is a former railway station in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. It was built by the Canadian Northern Railway along the Winnipeg to Edmonton mainline. The ​1 1⁄2-story, wood-frame, railway station was completed in 1905. The last CNR passenger train (#9 and #10) ended service in 1963 with service restored in 1978; Via Rail railliner served the station in 1980.
