Muskegon Lakeshore

Muskegon River is a river in the western portion of the lower peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. The river has its headwaters in Houghton Lake in Roscommon County, flowing out of the North Bay into neighboring Missaukee County. From there it flows mostly southwest to Muskegon, Michigan, where it empties into Muskegon Lake.

The Charles H. Hackley House is a house located at 484 West Webster Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan, USA. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1970, and is now part of the Hackley and Hume Historic Sites, and is open to the public.

The Amazon Hosiery Mill, also known as the Amazon Knitting Mill, is a former industrial building located at 530-550 West Western Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It now houses the Amazon Apartments. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Frauenthal Center for Performing Arts is located in downtown Muskegon in the U.S. state of Michigan. It houses the historic Frauenthal Theater, the Beardsley Theater, Clark-Cannon Gallery, several meeting rooms, and two rehearsal halls. The Center is a historical monument in Muskegon County, and is considered one of the best theaters in Michigan, outside of Detroit.

The Robert B. Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI), is located in Muskegon, Michigan at the Lake Michigan Center on Muskegon Lake. The mission of the Institute is to integrate research, education, and outreach to enhance and preserve freshwater resources. AWRI is a multidisciplinary research organization within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Grand Valley State University.

The Union Depot is a railway station located at 610 Western Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It is now the Muskegon County Convention & Visitor's Bureau.

USS LST 393 is an LST-1-class tank landing ship built for the United States Navy during World War II. She is one of only two LSTs to survive in original configuration; 1,051 were built. She is now a museum ship in Muskegon, Michigan.

The Hume House is a house located at 472 West Webster Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and is now part of the Hackley and Hume Historic Sites, and is open to the public.

The L. C. Walker Arena is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Muskegon, Michigan, United States. It was built in 1960 by money from the estate of the late Louis Carlisle Walker at a cost of $1 million, and on October 27, 1960 was given to the City of Muskegon. It is currently home to the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League, Muskegon Risers SC of Major Arena Soccer League 2, and the West Michigan Ironmen indoor football team.

The Muskegon Historic District is a public and residential historic district in Muskegon, Michigan, consisting of the four blocks between Clay Avenue, Webster Avenue, Second Street, and Sixth Street, and the two blocks between Webster Avenue, Muskegon Avenue, Second Street and Fourth Street. The district was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
