Independent University, Bangladesh (Bengali: ইন্ডিপেন্ডেন্ট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) or IUB is one of the private universities in Bangladesh located in Bashundhara R/A, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established in 1993 by the Private University Act, 1992. The business programs are accredited by the US based ACBSP.

Bashundhara Residential Area (Bengali: বসুন্ধরা আবাসিক এলাকা) is a private residential area of Vatara Thana in Dhaka District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The area is developed by Bashundhara Group. The Project was started in the 1980s. In 2011 portions of the housing project was declared illegal as they were considerable flood flow zones of Dhaka.

International School Dhaka (ISD) is a co-educational International Baccalaureate World School in Dhaka, Bangladesh that was established in 1999. The school enrolls students in the age range of 2–18, from Playgroup through to Grade 12, providing an international education for local and expatriate children living in Bangladesh.

Islamic Research Center Bangladesh, popularly known as Bashundhara Islamic Research Center, is a higher Islamic research institution situated at Bashundhara, Dhaka. Faqihul Millat Mufti Abdur Rahman is the principal founder of the institution.
