Walk around Canyon Meadows

The Shaw Charity Classic is a professional golf tournament in Canada on the Champions Tour, played at Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club in Calgary, Alberta. The 54-hole tournament was first played in 2013, and Rocco Mediate won with a 22-under 191, seven strokes ahead of runner-up Tom Byrum. A new course record was set by Bill Glasson at 62 (−9).

Named after Earle Parkhill Scarlett, a Calgary physician, educator, scholar and writer, Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School is a public senior high school located in Canyon Meadows, serving several deep south and southeast neighborhoods. Operated by the Calgary Board of Education, Scarlett has the largest and most established AP program in the city and hosts French Immersion and Spanish bilingual programs.

Canyon Meadows is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded by Anderson Road to the north, Macleod Trail to the east, Fish Creek Provincial Park and Canyon Meadows Drive to the south and 14 Street W to the west. The Canyon Meadows golf course is developed northwest of the neighbourhood.

Woodlands is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. The community is bordered by Fish Creek Provincial Park to the south, 24 Street SW to the west, Anderson Road SW to the north, and 14 Street SW to the east. The Canyon Meadows Golf course is entirely contained within the boundaries of Woodlands.

Braeside is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located north of Anderson Road, south of Southland Drive, west of 14th Street SW and east of 24th Street SW.
