Bandirma Port / Center

Bandırma (from Greek: Πάνορμος, Panormos) is a city in northwestern Turkey with 143,000 inhabitants (2012 estimate) on the Sea of Marmara. Bandırma is a district of Balıkesir Province.The city is a commercial centre and its harbour serves as a transit point for trade between Istanbul and İzmir. There is also agriculture produced in the surrounding areas, producing products like cereals, sheep wool and meat, cattle, grain and the mineral boracite.

The Bandırma Ferry Terminal Turkish: Bandırma Ferribot Terminali) or Bandırma Pier (Turkish: Bandırma İskelesi) is a ferry terminal in Bandırma, Turkey, located within the Port of Bandırma on the Marmara Sea. It is used by İDO, which operates ferry service from Bandırma to Yenikapı in Istanbul.The terminal opened in 1998, when İDO began operating ferry service to Bandırma.

Bandırma railway station is the main railway station in Bandırma, Turkey. It is located within the Port of Bandırma, adjacent to the Bandırma Ferry Terminal. It is the northern terminus of the 6th of September Express and the 7th of September Express, which operate daily to İzmir. Bandırma station is located at the end of a short branch with entry only from the north, requiring trains to back up into the station from the mainline at Bandırma Şehir station.
