Lincoln Park

Hudson County, a county in the U.S. state of New Jersey, lies west of the lower Hudson River, which was named for Henry Hudson, the sea captain who explored the area in 1609. Part of New Jersey's Gateway Region in the New York metropolitan area, Jersey City is its largest city and county seat.As of the 2018 Census estimate, Hudson County was the fastest-growing county in New Jersey compared to 2010; the county's population was 676,061, making it the state's 4th-most populous county, an increase of 9.0% from the 2010 United States Census, when its population was enumerated at 634,266, in turn an increase of 25,291 (+4.2%) from the 608,975 enumerated in the 2000 Census.

Downtown is an area of Jersey City, New Jersey, United States, which includes the Historic Downtown and the Waterfront. Historic Downtown can be further broken down into the neighborhoods of Harsimus Cove, The Village, Van Vorst Park, Grove Street, Hamilton Park and Boyle Plaza. The Waterfront includes the Powerhouse Arts District/WALDO, Newport, the Harborside Financial Center and Paulus Hook (including Exchange Place).

Lincoln Park is an urban park in Jersey City, New Jersey with an area of 273.4 acres (110.6 ha). Part of the Hudson County Park System, it opened in 1905 and was originally known as West Side Park. The park was designed by Daniel W. Langton and Charles N. Lowrie, both founding members of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

New Jersey's Thirteenth Congressional District was a congressional district which was created for the 73rd United States Congress in 1933, based on redistricting following the United States Census, 1930. It was last represented by Democrat Albio Sires when it was eliminated due to redistricting following the United States Census, 2010.

Lincoln the Mystic, also known as the Abraham Lincoln Memorial, is a bronze statue by James Earle Fraser.It is located at Lincoln Park in Hudson County, New Jersey, near the beginning of the Lincoln Highway.

Holy Name Cemetery is a Roman Catholic cemetery in Jersey City, New Jersey administered by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. It was established in 1866 and at the end of calendar year 2002 has accepted 264,984 burials. The cemetery parcel is 63 acres (250,000 m2) and all but 0.3 acres (1,200 m2) has been developed and sold for burials.

The West Side of Jersey City is an area made up of several diverse neighborhoods on either side of West Side Avenue, one of the city's main shopping streets. Parallel and west of Kennedy Boulevard, West Side Avenue carries two county route designations.West Side Avenue at its northern end begins in the Marion Section as a dead end at the PATH trains, though there is no station there After crossing Broadway and Sip Avenue it passes Holy Name Cemetery on the west and nearby Saint Peter's College to the east.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency added the PJP Landfill site in Marion Section of Jersey City, New Jersey to the Superfund National Priorities List on September 1, 1983 because hazardous chemicals were found in the soil and groundwater. The 87 acre site located in Hudson County contained a landfill that may have been used as early as 1968 to dispose of chemical and industrial wastes.
