Cratona Park

Crotona Park is a public park in the South Bronx section of the Bronx, New York City, covering 127.5 acres (0.516 km2; 0.1992 sq mi). The park is bounded by streets of the same name on its northern, eastern, southern, and western borders. It is divided into four portions by Claremont Parkway and Crotona Avenue, which run through it.

The Herman Ridder Junior High School (also known as Public School 98) is a middle school in the Morrisania section of the Bronx, part of the New York City Department of Education. Constructed from 1929–31, the building is a landmark Art Deco structure designed by Eric Kebbon. It is named after Herman Ridder, a prominent newspaper publisher and editor.

Crotona Park East, also known as Crotona or East Morrisania, is a residential neighborhood geographically located in the southwest Bronx in New York City. Crotona Park East is considered part of the South Bronx. Its boundaries, starting from the north and moving clockwise are the Cross-Bronx Expressway to the north, the Bronx River to the east, East 167th Street to the south, and Crotona/Prospect Avenues to the west.
