Pardubice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈpardubɪtsɛ] (listen); German: Pardubitz) is a city in the Czech Republic. It is the capital city of the Pardubice Region and lies on the river Elbe, 96 kilometres east of Prague. There is an old tower and a castle. Factories include the Synthesia chemical factory, an oil refinery Paramo, a heavy machinery factory and an electronic equipment plant.

Pardubice main railway station (Czech Pardubice hlavní nádraží) is one of the largest railway stations in the Czech Republic, located about 1.8 kilometres (1.1 mi) WSW from city centre of Pardubice, an important railway network hub.

Pardubice District (Czech: okres Pardubice) is a district (okres) within the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. Its capital is the city of Pardubice.

Letní stadion is a former multi-purpose stadium in Pardubice, Czech Republic. From demolition in 1968 is intended only for football. It is the home stadium of women's football team SK DFO Pardubice and American football team Pardubice Stallions. Stadium capacity from the original 15,000 spectators dropped to just 1,000 spectators.

University of Pardubice (Czech: Univerzita Pardubice or UPA) is a university in Pardubice, the Czech Republic. In 2005 it had nearly 8,000 students. It is the only university in Pardubice Region.
