Shah Alam Lake

Shah Alam is a city and the state capital of Selangor, Malaysia and situated within the Petaling District and a small portion of the neighbouring Klang District. Shah Alam replaced Kuala Lumpur as the capital city of the state of Selangor in 1978 due to Kuala Lumpur's incorporation into a Federal Territory in 1974.

The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque (Malay: Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz) is the state mosque of Selangor, Malaysia. It is located in Shah Alam. It is the country's largest mosque and also the second largest mosque in Southeast Asia after Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia. Its most distinguishing feature is its large blue and silver dome.

SIRIM Berhad, formerly known as the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM), is a corporate organisation owned wholly by the Malaysian Government, under the Minister of Finance Incorporated. It has been entrusted by the Malaysian Government to be the national organisation for standards and quality, and as a promoter of technological excellence in the Malaysian industry.

Sultan Alam Shah Museum (Malay: Muzium Sultan Alam Shah) is a museum in Shah Alam, Petaling, Selangor, Malaysia. It is the state museum of Selangor. This museum was opened in 1989 by the late Sultan of Selangor Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah.

Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Building is Selangor's state secretariat building. It is located at Bukit SUK, Section 5, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. It was constructed between 1982 and 1984. The building was officially opened on 2 February 1985 by Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah of Selangor.

Shah Alam Royale Theatre is a theater in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located at Jalan Persidangan in section 14, just behind the Grand Blue Wave hotel. This theatre provides an alternative venue for local theatre productions besides Shah Alam City Council auditorium and Petaling Jaya Civic Centre.
