Ma'anshan sea otter

Heng On (Chinese: 恆安; Cantonese Yale: Hàng'ōn) is a station on the Ma On Shan Line of Hong Kong MTR, named after the nearby Heng On Estate. It also serves other residential areas like Kam Fung Court, Kam On Court, Baycrest, Vista Paradiso, and Yiu On Estate. It also serves over 10 schools (including Renaissance College) and two sports centres – Ma On Shan Sports Ground and Heng On Sports Centre.

Ma On Shan Park is a public park located at 12 On Chun Street in the town centre of Ma On Shan town in the Sha Tin District of Hong Kong's New Territories. It is situated next to the shopping centre of Ma On Shan Plaza. The natural scenery of Pat Sin Leng and Tolo Harbour can be viewed from the park.

It occupies an area of 2,200 square metres (24,000 sq ft). It has a characteristic main building in a cylindrical shape.

Tak Sun Secondary School (TSSS; traditional Chinese: 德信中學 ; demonym: Tak Sunian/ Tak Sun Boy) is a directly subsidized, English as Medium of Instruction, boys' school located at Tai Shui Hang, Ma On Shan, Shatin, New Territories, Hong Kong. The institution was established in 2000.Tak Sun is founded on Catholic Christian values, incorporates the involvement of parents in the education of their children and encourages their own personal growth as parents.

Mountain Shore (Chinese: 曉峯灣畔) is a private housing estate in Ma On Shan, Sha Tin District, New Territories, Hong Kong. The estate is one of the Hong Kong Housing Society's Sandwich Class Housing Scheme projects converted into private developments.The housing estate is built along Tide Cove. It comprises five high-rise buildings with a total of 1,124 units.

Tai Shui Hang (Chinese: 大水坑; Cantonese Yale: Daaihséuihāang) is an MTR station on the Ma On Shan Line in Hong Kong. It serves residential estates including Kam Tai Court, Mountain Shore, Chevalier Garden and Sausalito, and Sha Tin Fishermen's New Village. It also serves five kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.

Ma On Shan (Chinese: 馬鞍山) is an elevated station on the Ma On Shan Line of Hong Kong. It is located above Sai Sha Road, at the town centre of Ma On Shan, between Sunshine City and Bayshore Towers. It also serves other residential areas like Kam Ying Court and Chung On Estate; it also serves over ten schools, and is in close proximity with Ma On Shan Central Park and other parks.

Sunshine City (Chinese: 新港城) is the name of a private development in the town centre of Ma On Shan in the Sha Tin District of Hong Kong. It was developed by Henderson Land Development, and contains a series of high-rise residential tower blocks and a series of shopping arcades. The largest, Sunshine City Plaza, has nowadays become the centre of Ma On Shan.

Tide Cove or Sha Tin Hoi (Chinese: 沙田海) is a cove at the mouth of the Shing Mun River. It is between Ma Liu Shui and Ma On Shan. The cove is open to Tolo Harbour (Tai Po Hoi). It was largely reclaimed for the development of Sha Tin New Town.Tide Cove may shrink further in the future, as the government is exploring further land reclamation at Ma Liu Shui.
