Weehawken is a township in the northern part of Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 12,554, reflecting a decline of 947 (-7.0%) from the 13,501 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,116 (+9.0%) from the 12,385 counted in the 1990 Census.

Union Hill High School was a public high school serving students in grades 9–12 from Union City in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States, operating as one of two high schools of the Union City Board of Education, an Abbott District. The school was built in—and named for—what was formerly Union Hill, New Jersey, a municipality which merged with West Hoboken in 1925 to form Union City.

The Hackensack Water Company Complex is a set of historic buildings in Weehawken, New Jersey, registered in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The Hackensack Water Company, a predecessor of Suez North America, developed water supply and storage in northeastern New Jersey from the 1870s to the 1970s, initially to provide service to the city of Hackensack and the towns of North Hudson.

The Swaminarayan Mandir in Weehawken, New Jersey is the first Swaminarayan temple in the United States. It is the national headquarters of the ISSO and comes under the NarNarayan Dev Gadi of the Swaminarayan Sampraday. Today there are four Swaminarayan temples in New Jersey alone.

Pershing Road travels for 0.42 miles (0.68 km) on the Hudson Palisades in Weehawken, New Jersey between Boulevard East and Weehawken Port Imperial and carries the designation Hudson County Route 682.At County Route 505 (Boulevard East), the road meets 48th Street (County Route 684), one of the very few two-way streets in the urban grid of North Hudson, which travels west to Bergenline Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard.

Weehawken Terminal was the waterfront intermodal terminal on the North River (Hudson River) in Weehawken, New Jersey for the New York Central Railroad's West Shore Railroad division, whose route travelled along the west shore of the Hudson River. It opened in 1884 and closed in 1959. The complex contained five ferry slips, sixteen passenger train tracks, car float facilities, and extensive yards.

Weehawken Port Imperial is an intermodal transit hub on the Weehawken, New Jersey waterfront of the Hudson River across from Midtown Manhattan, served by New York Waterway ferries and buses, Hudson–Bergen Light Rail, and NJT buses. The district lies under and at the foot of Pershing Road, a thoroughfare which travels along the face of the Hudson Palisades, which rise to its west.

The Weehawken School District is a comprehensive community public school district serving students in kindergarten through twelfth grade from the Township of Weehawken, in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its three schools had an enrollment of 1,389 students and 109.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.7:1.

Weehawken High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in seventh through twelfth grade from Weehawken, in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Weehawken School District. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 1928.
